Aces and Faces Video Poker

Aces and Faces Video Poker

Aces and Faces video poker is played according to the same rules as standard Jacks or Better video poker. However, Aces and Faces video poker is different with respect to hand rankings and corresponding payouts. These differences are:

Four Aces ranks higher than a Straight Flush
Four Kings, Queens or Jacks, rank higher than a Four of a Kind of a lower rank

Below you will find an example of an Aces and Faces video poker payout table as well as examples of all possible hands and their rankings in Aces and Faces video poker.

Aces and Faces video poker payout table

The payout table listed below is used at a couple of Microgaming casinos we checked. Note that a Full House and a Flush are awarded conform standard short pay Jacks or Better. Also note that the payout for a Royal Flush gets proportionally better the more coins you bet. A Royal Flush earns you 4000 if you bet 5 coins, but if you bet 1 coin you only earn 500, where we would expect 4000 / 5 = 800. So always bet max coins with this particular payout table. The differences with a standard short pay Jacks or Better payout table have been highlighted in red for your convenience.
