no exception. Number of Rows
A standard slot machine displays three horizontal rows across
three vertical reels.

you can activate additional paylines by increasing your bet.
Your total bet is then the single line bet times the number
of activated paylines.
Number of Spins
Some machines allow you to hold a couple of reels after the
first spin, and then spin the reels that you didn't hold a second
time.

Progressive (shared) Jackpot Vs Multiplier
A progressive jackpot means that a certain percentage of every
bet goes to the progressive jackpot pool. The jackpot pool can
be shared between a group of slots in a casino, or even across
different casinos. The jackpot is awarded for the highest winning
symbol combination, usually only when playing max coins. A slot
machine is called a multiplier when it doesn't have a jackpot,
but when the payback for additional coins is simply a multiple
of the payback for a single coin. Denomination of one
coin
Quarter and Dollar denominations are the most common, but high
roller machines can take denominations as high as $500.
Bonus games
Machines that have a Bonus Game require you to obtain a special
symbol combination, or collect certain symbols. When you do,
you will enter a bonus round, with special prizes waiting for
you. Please note that in some games you have to play for the
maximum bet to qualify for the bonus round. |
