Deuces Wild Video Poker |
Deuces Wild video poker is derived from Jacks or Better video
poker, with the main difference being that all cards with a face value
of two (the deuces) are wild, and thus can substitute for any other
card in the deck. As a result the payout table for Deuces Wild video
poker is significantly different in a number of respects:

With four wild cards in a deck, a
lot of hands have a higher probability of occurring. Payouts
for these hands have been decreased, and some hands aren't even
listed in a Deuces Wild payout table, f.e. Two Pairs. |

Four Deuces, Wild Royal Flush and Five of a Kind
are hands you won't find in a Jacks or Better payout table,
because they can only be made using one or more of the wild
deuces. |
Deuces Wild video poker payout table
The payout table listed below is used at the Microgaming
casinos we reviewed. In full pay Deuces Wild video poker you have
a small edge over the casino. The payout table presented here does
*not* represent full pay Deuces Wild. In the "5 coins" column
we have listed the payouts for full pay Deuces Wild in parenthesis,
where they do differ from the payouts in this table. As you can see
the payout table presented here offers higher payouts for a Five of
a Kind and a Straight Flush, and a lower payout for Four of a Kind.
Because a Four of a Kind occurs more often than a Five of Kind and
a Straight Flush combined, the average return associated with this
payout table is less than 100%.
If you're planning to play Deuces Wild based on this payout table,
remember to always bet max coins, because the payouts for a Natural
Royal Flush when betting 1 to 4 coins are *not* proportional to
the 5 coin payout.
